Bujanovac social games
How can football and basketball be games in which the winner does not matter?
The girls and boys from Bujanovac changed the rules of the game so that everyone could have fun and be equally involved. There was no referee, and mutual agreement replaced the whistle. The question remains: “When will we do this again?”.
How can board games be tools in intercultural education?
We were playful with a group of female students and female professors, exchanged experiences and ideas, discussed the concepts of intercultural sensitivity, and imagined ways to develop it through play. The Bujanovac board game was launched and since September the students have taken the main role.
On 22 – 23 June 2023, training was held in Bujanovac as part of the Intercool Tool project, implemented with the support of the regional project SMART Balkan – Civil Society for Shared Society in the Western Balkans, implemented by the Centre for Civil Society Promotion (CPCD), Center for Research and Policy Making (CRPM) and the Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM) and is financially supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway.
