Visiting reception centres and centres for accomodation of asylum seekers

During April and May, representatives of Group 484 visited asylum centres in Krnjača, Bogovađa and Banja Koviljača, as well as the Reception Centre for Accommodation of Migrants in Vranje. While talking with employees of the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration and representatives of civil society organisations and international organisations, we learned more about the needs of beneficiaries of the centres necessary in the upcoming period, to ensure a healthy and safe life, enable the fulfilment of all guaranteed rights and so that people are returned to their normal lives after the period of isolation.

In the upcoming period, Group 484 will adjust its activities to the assessed needs in reception centres and asylum centres, in order to respond as adequately as possible to the approaching period, which is coloured by the past emergency situation and the long period of restrictive measures migrants and asylum seekers were exposed to, but also by the growing anti-immigrant campaign in our country.
