Video: Support to the Institute of Mental Health
The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Belgrade has been an important donor and partner to Group 484 over the past ten years.
‘Support to Migrant and Local Communities in Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia’ Project has been implemented since October 2019, providing an additional support to vulnerable groups during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The main goal of the additional support was enhancing the relevant institutions and civil society organisations so that we could jointly respond to the challenges caused by the pandemic.
It supported 15 projects in Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia. Four of these projects directly supported healthcare and social care institutions in the Republic of Serbia and they were implemented by Group 484. One of the projects provided support and assistance to the Institute of Mental Health by donating protective equipment and refurbishing a part of the Institute’s building in Belgrade, in the total amount of EUR 110,000.
These projects ensured the provision of support to 125,000 persons in over 80 cities and municipalities and of the material support to 86 healthcare, educational and social care institutions. Moreover, direct support project activities engaged over 250 local organisations and institutions and over 780 volunteers.
We keep helping those in need.
