Belgrade –Organised by Group 484, the Natural Museum hosted a group of children from Kosovo living in collective centres in Belgrade at the exhibition "Giants from Patagonia".
Around twenty children had the opportunity to learn more about our planet’s evolution, from history of dinosaurs to different theories about their extinction. The children were most impressed by the size of the former masters of the Earth’s wildlife.
"I like most this dinosaur that lived 225 million years ago."
"I like dinosaurs because they are beautiful and strong, and I like this big one most, it’s huge and it’s a carnivore, eats meat and insects."
Other two groups of children will visit the exhibition as well.
"Today, we have brought twenty-one children. I hope we will have the same number of children for out next visit, since there are a lot of children and we would like to bring here as many of them as possible. Many of them would not normally come to the exhibition, because it is too far, their parents work and don’t have time to take them ", says Natasa Ljubomirovic from Group 484.
The exhibition "Giants from Patagonia" in Serbia follows contemporary trends in museum settings.
"We have a lot of interactive workshops for our visitors and this trend has been present in the world for many years", says the Natural Museum Director Slavko Spasic.
The dinosaurs will stay in Serbia for some time, having in mind that the exhibition will be open until January 15 next year. |
